Article 24, IQ & 9 Other Unique Related Quotients for Uncommon Success For All Mankind! (Part 1 of 6)

[Self-Improvement] Multiple Qs are exceptionally interesting skills that include all those important Qs towards achieving total success as a better person, a better parent, a better partner and a better player of life. Our Qs should not be restricted to only one Q, that is IQ. Some other important Qs mentioned in my articles include EQ, DQ, CQ, TQ, AQ, MQ, HQ, SQ1, SQ2 that contributes to the awareness of achieving all Qs. Look at the sum of it, not just at one part of it and you will live your life to your fullest and never regret ever!

To master and understand the above multiple quotients is of great importance as to becoming a better person, a better parent, a better partner and a better player of life. One should not underestimate the power of multiple quotients, which are the basic requisites to life lived to the fullest and be a someone who says; ‘I have no regrets in life!!’ Life written cannot be rewritten. We should treasure all the rare moments in our life. This is a must to read…

What is this topic all about? The moment I take up my pen, I would be scribbling all the way down as to how to achieve and enjoy total success and happiness as a person. Life is short for man, one seldom lives over 100! So, it is of great importance that we make full use of what we have at hand and to maximize all our abilities and capabilities to be whom we actually are. To understand them better, I have categorized them into at least 10 topics of its own that contributes to the sum of it.

I am extremely excited and keen on writing multiple quotients that will make aware many to remind ourselves that what we are looking for in life can be enhanced and tapped productively. ‘Multiple Quotients"is compulsory for all to achieve better survival in this complicated world of ours. Let's have a look at the different types of quotients.

[1] IQ Intelligence quotient

Do you know that our IQ is inherited from our parents, our ancestors and our Creator? All of us should understand that we have inherited accumulated knowledge and wisdom from them. We are gifted in many ways at birth. That is why one can be exceptionally talented in his or her field when tapped. This is one of the most interesting thing one should know, we are all a kind of genius of our own! But many of us are not satisfied with what we have, thus going further to acquire more knowledge from all available, relevant and reliable sources. Our first teacher are our parents at home. Then we are sent to other educational sources like schools, institutes and universities and exposed to many professionals and other experts. We go in search high and low for gaining something extra, that is to increase our IQ.

Learning is a forever thing, we don't stop at just any junction to rest, thus we used to say that education is a means to an end, but not an end in itself. The techniques and skills in acquiring knowledge is then an everlasting task that all of us have to acquire. Our brain is the masterpiece that installs all the skills or ways and to be applied when doing things or dealing with problems that definitely will make a difference. All of us have spent so much of our time, money and effort in acquiring knowledge to be installed into our brain. That is why our brain is the most important part of our body. Use it or lose it.

By then one must remember that we are gifted as a human who has a brain and can think and evaluate. We are what we allow in our brain. We are who we think we are. We are what we program ourselves to be. IQ is the only Q that can be measured by our certificates. Many other important Qs cannot be measured by certificates or just any piece of paper, but it doesn't matter. We know what we should do and what is needed of us when we go further to understand more of the other Qs.

Thus IQ = inherited knowledge + acquired knowledge

Article 23, The Other Side of IQ [Part 2 of 2]

[Self-Improvement] The other sides of IQ refers to how uncertain IQ is when used alone and how it cannot be measured through certificates accurately. How some are blinded by our ego, pride or qualifications and looking down on those who aren't qualified. Climbing one summit will lead to higher summits ahead. We do value IQ, but we should never disregard other important Qs. The fittest will survive! All of us should admit this, because we are living in an extremely challenging world.

Let's take a look at the other side of IQ. Read through and think twice.

[1] IQ measured and put into certificates might not be 100% accurate. Why am I saying so? Not all people's intelligence mature at the same stage. Some people had not the chances to further their studies. Some weren't even given chances to be exposed to higher studies.

[2] Use it or lose it! That is our brain. Acquired knowledge can easily be lost if not used often. Knowledge is never lost when in constant use.

[3] Brain damage will also render one's existing certificate useless.

[4] A person's IQ can be improved with applying DQ, thus increasing and improving all the time.

[5] Some students were not at all interested in those subjects offered in school, thus eventually be ruled out of the outstanding board. Or perhaps not provided at that time.

[6] When great emphasizes are focused on studies to obtain a certificate, students tend to be stressed that they were building their parents' hope and happiness instead of themselves.

[7] In the pursuit of acquiring IQ from schools, those not too bright students were often looked down upon, left unnoticed, condemned, blamed, discarded and given undergrads by those classmates who thought they were better. I dare say, not the students only, the majorities are teachers themselves.

[8] Some relationships have gone stale due to prejudices of parents themselves in the discrimination of grades and qualifications when choosing for their children's life partners.

[9] Why is it that 99% of our brain left untapped? How can it be tapped?

[10] Where have our educational system gone wrong? Why the many dropouts and dissatisfaction among many? Are these people born to be left out of the crowd where IQ is concerned?

[11] Why have many of them been left 'to die' by themselves? But luckily managed to discover in a tough way that they can survive better without any certificate or are even better than most of us?

[12] Or are we blinded by our ego, pride or qualifications? Or 'qualified' to look down upon just anybody? Can a blind lead another blind to the market? What have we actually 'qualified' to lead and teach?

[13] Why the disturbances in schools? Why the lost of interests in schools? Where have all those great dreams gone to?

[14] Are we as educators teaching the wrong concept? Are we copycatting a wrong system ourselves? Ignorant ourselves?

[15] Look at our discipline at schools. It pained me so much to look into those ugly facts. And how the students are classified by teachers and degraded? Of course, there are differences in one's abilities and capabilities. Why the waste of time and money?

Here is not an end to those questions. There are some more to come, but to be able to deal with negatives is so much more important than to stay positive. Have just anybody applied all the Qs at home, in schools and in our society? Just as a reminder, all those other Qs can be extremely helpful to our basic Q, the IQ.

Just another point. " We value accumulated experiences, we value appropriate education, we value our educational support, we treasure acquired knowledge, we respect our mentors, BUT are we equipped with efficient knowledge to guide and teach our newer breed who have inherited our knowledge from birthrights too?" Are we as educators aware that these newer generations are smarter than when we were at that age? Are we not conscious that we have lost control of our newer generations? Are we not aware of the great pace of improvements? When did we first learn about computers and internet? When did we possess our first mobile phone? When did we watch the first colored TV? Why the generation gap?

CAN WE STILL USE OUR ACQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF THE 19TH OR 20TH CENTURY'S WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE TO TEACH OUR KIDS of today? These are our 21st century kids. Are we expecting these children to learn just from what we have at hand? Are we 'qualified' to lead by examples? Dear readers, be aware that CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT! Take for instance; writing good articles are getting more and more difficult, why? As when one submits an article, we should appropriately tick the column confirming that our articles are original and not copied from anywhere. Just look at all those published articles. They are personalized works from great thinkers and writers. These are great works that all of us admire! If our work is not better, how can one reach another level of success? Where then can we submit our articles to? Haha..... to the recycle bin?

All of us are working with experts and are no losers. When one has read good articles, we look for better articles, and from better to best. So, definitely the record is set higher for us to break. It is getting more difficult! If we were to remain stagnant at what our present levels, we will be so much far left behind. Climbing one summit will lead to higher summits ahead. Life is challenging. Face the challenges or be a loser. Look at our next younger generations. Shouldn't they be geared to move on the race?

Article 22, The Other Side of IQ [Part 1 of 2]

[Self-Improvement] I have an interesting story to tell- It was about a young professor who went sailing. He was boasting about his qualifications among farmers and sailors and some other friends. Unfortunately, the ship sank and the professor was nearly drowned. Then they were forced to survive on the island. It was rough time for him but eventually learnt in a hard way about the law of surviving. What is actually learned from books may not be exactly the same when in practical. He also learnt about TQ, EQ, AQ-

I have a story to tell.

One day, a young professor went sailing. On his journey, he proudly introduced himself as professor and was happily chattering away with his newly found friends. He met some farmers and sailors. The professor was relaying about his school days and how he managed to qualify for his doctorate. He was a little carried away when he boasted about his capabilities as a professor. He laughed at his fellow mates that none of them were as qualified as him. Halfway, a storm was brewing. The wind was too big to control and soon they were in trouble. The ship was sinking but the professor didn't know how to swim. Now was the turn for all of them to laugh at him. 'What was the use of your thick certificates, you couldn't even swim!' Luckily the professor admitted his silly mistake and was saved.

The sailors put the young professor on a floating log and soon they came to an island. The professor was glad that he was saved. He was grateful to them but soon he was again relaying his stories of how respected and admired he was when in his university. He had no other stories to tell. His friends continued to bear with the professor's stories. All of them were forced to look for food on land and from sea. Soon they have caught some fish and collected some food. Poor professor, he had nothing to eat. He didn't know how to collect food. But the farmers told him to learn to collect food by himself.

The young professor was forced to learn how to survive. The farmers in no time were planting food and the sailors became great fishermen. But since the professor never did farm before nor slept under the stars, he suffered greatly. He eventually understood the law of Nature in a hard way. He admitted that life was not exactly as what he studied from the books! Slowly he was exposed to more laws of survival and by the time they were saved, the professor was a little 'uncivilized' and sun burnt, but happy. He had learnt a lesson, not to be proud of his acquired IQ! Luckily he was not the second Robinson Crusoe.

From this story, all of us should come to realize that all of us are unique and experts in their own way. Practice makes perfect. We should understand what interdependence means. We should learn to feel the grand colors of life that depicts varieties and uniqueness. We are no one man on an island!

There are many self-made millionaires who never had any certificates but are rich and powerful. There were also cases of great man and women who were great inventors and lived great lives. IQ when tapped will definitely make us a better person. But sad to say, some people have grown arrogant and proud of their achievements and looked down on some people they thought inferior. IQ is not the only Q that can contribute to SUCCESS!

Some very learned have grown proud and egoist and looked down upon those who have no such certificates. I can definitely smell the pride of most of these people. Some purposely showed off their acquired knowledge and emphasized how important they were. Pride goes for a fall. Certificates no doubt are extremely useful, but there is no need to compare people down.

Let's take a look at the other side of IQ. Read through and think twice. [to be continued...]

Article 8, Is IQ (Intelligence Quotient) The Product Of Inherited Knowledge And Acquired Knowledge?

[Self-Improvement] Our children will be very much smarter than when we were at their age. Why? They have inherited our knowledge too. It is expected. It is just normal to produce better species in future to come. IQ is inherited knowledge + acquired knowledge. We have inherited from our parents, ancestors and our Creator and even tapped from the universe! We are all intellectually gifted in our own ways. Each of us have our own abilities and capabilities, tapped and untapped.

What is inherited knowledge? Inherited knowledge is knowledge inherited from our parents, our ancestors and our Creator from our birthrights. This is the most wonderful gift we receive from our parents. We should be excited and feeling grateful that we have this inherited knowledge. All of us are born from the union of our mother and father and not cloned like a robot or machine. All of us inherit some of our ancestors' knowledge and skills and these are stored in our brain.

Our inherited knowledge stretches far into our great ancestors and from our Creator! Our Creator is the source of all knowledge and wisdom. We are humans, not animals. We have brains that can think well and evaluate. We are intellectually gifted in our own ways, though it varies. No two brains are identically alike. Each have our own abilities and capabilities, tapped and untapped.

All of us are so excited in the process of tapping all these abilities and capabilities. The best is that all tapped IQ can bring us more advantages than ever. All of us can possess this valuable Q, yes, an extremely wonderful asset that can move a mountain or fill up an ocean! One should never underestimate what our brains when tapped are capable of doing.

Thoughts once an imagination are creations of today! We can fly, we can swim, we can go to the end of the world, explore the four corners of the earth and go to the outer space. All of us are unique and special in our own ways. All of us inherited every possible thoughts and experiences. These are recorded inside our DNA cells. One should learn to tap this valuable knowledge through practise, meditation or quietly listening to our thoughts. Learn and master this skill of creative thinking.

Our acquired knowledge is knowledge that we obtain from external sources that start from the moment we are born till the day we breathe our last. Learning is a lifelong process, maturing into our different stages of life. Acquired knowledge can be from abundant sources, like schools, institutes, universities, mass media, all articles printed or written or from the net. We have spent so much time, so much money and so much effort in our lives to add into our inherited knowledge from all possible reliable sources. Acquiring knowledge is an extremely big and wide field! It covers all possible languages all over the word and no libraries are big enough to fill in written articles and notes.

That is why all of us are so excited about being learned, and will continue to learn.... to master.... to acquire those skills and knowledge that can upgrade us as a better intellect. IQ, be it inherited or acquired combined are well established now. Many are now equipped with every possible certificates depicting the degree or height of one's intelligence.

Our brain....what contains in our brain is what makes the difference. Does it end here? What else do we not know? What else do we want? How far can we go? Where to learn? What can we get?

IQ is also a Q that sometimes make some learned egoist and proud of their certificates. Being equipped with IQ, but without EQ or MQ or just any other Qs, he/she is also considered as a total failure! Pride will go for a fall, that is what we always describe their failure. It is not that one should listen just to our brain with its domineering IQ that we follow without applying inner conscience.

Article 7, IQ at its BEST! Are we all Geniuses in the Making?,

[Self-Improvement] All of us are born equipped with 'instincts' of emotions and the will of survival and self-protection. How important is this IQ, to all of us? All of us are 'geniuses in the making!' Can all of us accept the fact that our children of today are much more smarter and intelligent than we were before? Why the change? How is it possible? Knowledge inherited, acquired, accumulated, regenerated and tapped will bring forth a very much improved populace in this earth and as Masters of the future - OUR KIDS!

IQ is the basic Q that we should master to understand fully the other Qs. The moment we were born of a mother's womb, we are capable of showing some of our inherited intelligence that matures as one grows. Even small babies know how to cry for food and for attention. They know about motherly love and whom to search for milk.

All of us are born equipped with 'instincts' of emotions and the will of survival and self-protection. How important is this IQ then? How has IQ helped us? Inherited? Yes, inherited from our ancestors who have lived millions of years ago. Just imagine, we have inherited millions of years of wisdom and intelligence from all of them. We are genius of our own.

Living in this 21st century, in our very much modernized world, we are aware of how all man have trusted and built a person's ability and capability based on certificates that proves a person's intelligence. It is no new thing that we now judge a person's intelligence from certificates.

With that in mind, it also means that a person's future or his success or failure very much depends on the certificates in his hands. That is why IQ is so very important. Understanding that these certificates are so valuable in our society, most people will struggle to produce a certificate that others will admire.

People are willing to spend years in schools and institutes to obtain the highest awards or certificates available. Some even competing with one another as to how early one is sent to preschools and seeking the highest awarded professionals to teach their kids. Thus it is not uncommon that most parents build their happiness on their children's qualifications obtained from schools or universities.

When 90% of the population are sailing on the same boat and are so goal-orientated towards 'intelligence in the making', one can see how important IQ is. Because of its importance, priorities and attention are focused and given to all learning institutes and in the mastering of skills for every small ones. Much effort is spent in the molding of these new generations to be what we thought would be best for them.

Let's go back to my definition on IQ. It is inherited and acquired. Well, do you ever realized that our beloved ex-teachers, whom we greatly admired are now not that smart as who we thought they were once upon a time? And that we are actually equally good or better than them now? Can one realize that all of us are improving and exposing our hidden potentially huge traits as a better genius?

Are we not understanding that our children have also inherited our intelligence? Do you know that one can also tap knowledge from the air? Forgive me, from the air? Yes, it is. From the air means just from this universe where many wise men or sages who have died but left behind their wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom is never lost, always remember this. Thoughts are constantly born into this world but left untapped since most people only search for knowledge from books and learning institutes and FORGET to tap our inner intelligence, a rare valuable gift inherited from our parents, our ancestors and our Creator.

Don't one also hit on some good ideas out of nowhere? Yes, you will agree to me that sometimes good ideas just pop out from nowhere. But where is this source of nowhere? How are such ideas born? How can we tap it? Where are all these 'good ideas' from? Why do we need to sharpen our wits? How is it explained? Can one accept this explanation? Our world did lived heroes, scientists, artists, leaders, sages, great men and women whose ideas are still living until now, regenerated and revitalized by those who felt the need to. Enlivened by those who possessed this skill of tapping them to enhance their inherited and acquired knowledge.

Can all of us accept the fact that our children of today are much more smarter and intelligent than we were before? Why the change? How is it possible? Why is it like that? Better than us? You mean our little children? Yes, they are definitely better chanced than all of us.

To teach or not to? We are all 'geniuses in the making' tapping our inner potentials and intelligence that was there and will be there. I am ever so excited to look into the welfare of our next generations, a smarter breed. Don't wait to see, join the race of tapping into our inner wisdom that are already in existence, stored deep inside our brain. Yes, our brain, tapped and untapped knowledge and wisdom from within, not outside.

But NEVER underestimate what our next generations can contribute, they are supposed to be reaching beyond our knowledge limits, much more clever then ever before! They have inherited, accumulated and re-generated an improved populace that can meet just any challenge, as masters of the future, as masters of our universe, who can survive even the toughest environment. They are growing better, stronger, powerfully mutated to survive and win.

Our future breed will be making improvements every seconds and minutes, tapping into deeper potentials of our unexplored human brain. A genius is said to be using only barely a few percent of our brain. I totally agreed to it. There is so much more space towards tapping our human resources, potentially powerful. If what we are searching from outside cannot maximize our IQ, why not seek from within, our inherited intelligence?
